Seeds, To swallow or not, That is the question.
There have been many arguments about swallowing the seeds in fruits and vegetables
Does it cause any harm and is it good for you? There are stomach problems such as Diverticulitis where in the past it was thought that consuming seeds and nuts were dangerous, that theory has since been debunked. Seeds act as roughage and help cleanse the colon. When making your smoothies don't be afraid of the seed.
When eating fruits, if the seeds are small enough to swallow, go ahead I promise you a tree will not grow inside you.
Remember to consult with your physician before starting a new diet and be careful while swallowing seeds it can be a choking hazard.
